Tragedy at Sukabangun Ketapang Power Plant: Two Workers Dead

An ordinary evening at the Sukabangun power plant in Ketapang district, West Kalimantan, turned tragic. Four workers were performing cleaning duties on exhaust pipes when an unexpected accident claimed the lives of two of them. The other two were seriously injured and are under intensive care at the hospital. Reports indicate that the accident was caused by a sudden collapse of supports welded onto the chimney walls. Work at coal-burning facilities always involves high risk, and this incident serves as a grim reminder of the importance of maintaining all safety measures.
