Tangerang, January 11, 2026 - The mineral and coal sector (Minerba) plays a significant role in Indonesia’s non-tax state revenue. In contemporary revenue management, students need to understand the dynamics of Minerba policies from the perspective of natural resources, economic sustainability, and fiscal governance. This was the backdrop for a public lecture on ‘Minerba Processing and the Future of State Revenue’ held at the State Finance Polytechnic STAN on January 9. The lecture was delivered by Supriyadi, Director of Non-Tax State Revenue Strategy, Ministry of Finance. The discussion emphasized that to achieve Indonesia’s Golden Age vision by 2045, it requires strong economic acceleration through the strengthening of mineral-based industries. This enhances resource value and broadens the tax base, thereby strengthening state finances. A key policy element includes offering tax incentives and promoting investment in processing sectors. Additionally, policy harmonization among all stakeholders is crucial.
