Indonesian Ministry of Culture Wins CNN Awards 2025 for Developing Cultural Talents

The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, known as Kemenbud, has achieved significant recognition by winning the Collaboration & Partnership Champion at the CNN Awards 2025. This accolade was awarded for Kemenbud’s outstanding efforts in nurturing and developing cultural talent nationally through its unique National Talent Management (MTN) program in the field of culture. The MTN program focuses on identifying and fostering talents, as well as linking them with various cultural and industrial institutions.
Kemenbud’s innovative approach to cultural development is based on collaboration and pure integration, lauded at the award ceremony. According to Ahmad Mahendra, Director of Development and Implementation of Cultural Programs, the award highlights the ministry’s efforts in building an inclusive and long-term cultural ecosystem in the country.
The MTN program, launched as part of President Prabowo Subianto’s plan, aims to prepare Indonesian culture for 2045 when the country is set to achieve significant milestones in this field. The program encompasses various fields of arts, including literature, cinema, and music, involving more than 30,000 participants.
The CNN Awards 2025 represents not only an acknowledgment of Kemenbud’s achievements but also an encouragement to further innovate and enhance cultural initiatives in Indonesia.
