Recent surveys by the Indonesia Political Indicator highlight that 95.5% of West Java residents are satisfied with Governor Dedi Mulyadi’s performance. Conducted between January 30 and February 8, 2026, among 800 respondents with a multistage random sampling method and a margin of error of 3.5%, the survey points to high satisfaction levels in areas such as healthcare, infrastructure, and education. However, despite the overall positive feedback, the economic sector has come under significant scrutiny. Economic growth and improvement of residents’ living standards remain challenges for the provincial government. Burhanudin Muhtadi, founder of Indonesia Political Indicator, noted that while public satisfaction is high, there are pressing issues regarding capital access and growth, with under 50% of respondents satisfied in these areas. This highlights the need for stronger collaboration between government and local entities to address economic challenges. Issues of poverty alleviation, workforce quality improvement, and social security provision call for comprehensive attention and coordination from local authorities.
